So you have finished your initial Open Water training. What's next? Many new divers want to gain experience and expertise through more supervised training dives. Individual divers without regular buddies also like the idea of a class structure and buddies with similar diving experience levels.

You have two options at this point. You can take the Adventures course and make the specialty dives for that certification. However, if you have any thoughts about higher level PADI leadership courses such as Divemaster or Open Water Instructor, we strongly encourage you to choose the Advanced Open Water course option. Unlike the Adventures course, there are two mandatory dives for Advanced Open Water: (1) Underwater Navigation and (2) Deep Diving.

Talk to us about which alternative best suits your needs.
